Nothing much surprises me anymore in religion more so on social media where they often quote men and women in the bible. No one seems to expand on what Moses did and he had to go through in the Sinai desert. 40 years in the wilderness none of those mentioned did this all alone like Moses.

Moses was Special
When I went to Egypt 20 years ago to climb Mount Sinai it wasn't like the way Moses did it. I was on a tour bus he had walked in the desert day and night. He had limited food and water while I had a back pack with me. Going up and down the mountain he wore sandles I wore heavy strong sneakers. Freezing cold at night I was dressed warm and he wore what Hebrews wore in those times. This is why he's so special even in the current 21st century.

What Moses Did
It just wasn't being God's law giver but what he had to endure after he gave up his wealth and his power to rule Egypt as their King.

16 years Later
I opened this blog 16 years ago to honor Moses for all that he did and what he gave up to become God's Lawgiver. From a general to a Prince to a shepherd to Law giver by God. There never was anyone whoever had to endure that much to gain supreme glory.

What Churches Should Do
Churches don't expand on what Moses had to go through after he gave up his wealth and power in Egypt. He used to live near the pyramids when he was the prince but after that he had to walk through the Sinai desert to Mount Sinai in sandals.
That's almost 800 miles round trip and after he freed his own people from slavery and then wander in the wildness 40 years because he could not go to the promised land with the others.
No way in the world I could do what he did!
